1/02/25. About $70 in 5 fountain pen inks alone were used, so I think that qualifies for the prompt today. I made this plot during my artist residency at @BantamTools last month, and I think that it was among one of the first plotter paintings made on the #ArtFrame, so I'm really proud of that. I learned a lot about how to adapt the process to this new kind of device, and it made me really excited to continue my experiments with it some day in the future! It's 24" x 18" and was absolutely drenched in ink that I would manually refill over the course of two days. I know I've made this claim many times before, but despite it's 'flaws', it's seriously one of my favourite pieces that I've made. If you want this plot, it's a big 1-of-1 that was painted with a brush by a sick, unreleased, prototype machine; so it's very special! Multiple bottles of *opulent* ink were poured into this piece.
