1/16/25. This plot was made using walnut ink that was made and gifted to me by @brepettisart! Using an organic ink that shifted colours during plotting is definitely what I would call a generative palette. At the time I thought the change in colour was the ink oxidizing at different times, but it actually stayed that way so I'm not really sure. It happened in the middle of the plot, not the beginning or end, so I don't think it was any sort of left-over ink contamination in the pen. Either way, I like the result! Oddly enough, it also happened to be the best *smelling* ink I've ever used, thanks again Bre! This was another plot made during my art residency at @bantamtools! It's special, it's big at 36" x 24", and it's also a 1-of-1 that was made on an unreleased, prototype machine. Grab it while you can!
