7/29/22. For this large plot I revisited an older sketch that I had originally written in java, and re-made it in python. I made a few tweaks that I really enjoyed, mainly adding a third dimension of noise to create a variation of colour of the rays in the tiles. Combined with the rotation it kind of makes a flow-field inspired feel. Maybe my favourite thing about it though is the optical illusions it tricks your brain into seeing when you look at it in person. It definitely feels like there are three-dimensional hills and everything moves. Very trippy! As much as I like this piece I'm going to keep this specific plot to a #1 of 1, I'll probably do more but I'll generate a unique designs each time. But the real reason is that I made this plot as a stepping stone in a design idea I have coming up. But more on that... later! Hope you enjoy this one... now? :P
