10/27/22. One year ago today I announced my first run on apparel and it was so much more successful than I could have expected. For my birthday tonight, my partner and I are doing a screenprinting workshop at @carouselspress! I'm looking forward to having a more holistic understanding of creating clothing and designs yourself. Once loaded with that knowledge, I'm going to make some decisions regarding designs and stuff, and then I'm going to be opening up preorders! Once again you'll be able to get some swag with my designs on it in time for the holidays, but this time I'm going to physically make everything myself; imagine what amazing gifts these will make! ;P Keep following for more details and updates when that goes live! . As for today's plot, I decided to combine two very different techniques; the plotter-painting technique with a brush, to give the sun a much more organic feel and to highlight that magnificent shading properties of this ink, and using a rOtring isograph technical pen for the mountain. It's very precise and bold, and I think that level of accuracy really plays nicely against the sun. What do you think?
