7/25/22. Wow, I had such an amazing time the last three days at "A New HOPE" (Hackers On Planet Earth, [@hopeconf]); a super cool hacker convention sponsored by the security hacker magazine 2600. I got to meet and chat with like 1,000 people who were all genuinely interesting, passionate, and earnest in sharing their love of deep nerdery with each other. I was able to set up a table with a good selection of my previous plots for people to browse, as well as do live-plotting the entire time, allowing people to see exactly how everything got made and introduce them to a really cool thing they mostly hadn't heard about! In the few breaks where I wasn't actively talking with these fine folks, there was a statue of a fu dog out of the very large windows directly across from where I was set up that I spent a lot of time looking at. I thought it would be neat to plot it and have something I could point at when people looked at it (either while in progress or when it was finished). This was the result of that!
