01/06/22. #Genuary6: "Steal Like An Artist". Alright, so my interpretation of this prompt is more along the lines of "Collaborate Like An Artist". I think the act of creating, in general, is collaborating with your experiences and the things that have inspired you up until that moment. In this case though, it was very specifically a collaboration with an abstract digital artist/poet/musician for whom I share a lot of respect and appreciation, @plastovarts. . He originally shared the original artwork for this a few weeks ago, and soon after we thought it would be interesting if it was pursued further. You might remember it from my stories a while back (unless you're a new follower, in which case 'Hello, and thanks for following me!'), but I never got a chance to share it until now. Hope you guys like it, and make sure to give him a follow as well! . Plotted with 5 x 0.3mm rOtring isographs. There was over a mile of lines drawn (6,055.2 feet to be exact) which required 13,160 pen lifts over the course of the 14 hours and 7 minutes it took to draw this large format plot. The music featured in the reel is the opening track off of Paul's album 'Video Strays', called "Cloud Cave".
