6/19/22. Loyal followers will recognize this piece from my instagram stories a couple days ago, it took 3 (days) to finish. It's all about transitions. At the center the polygons are at their lightest and most free, and the further from the center it goes, they become oversized, crowded, and ultimately, more destructive, pushing the paper to the edge of what it can withstand. I love the shading that is able to come out of the ink with my Eco fountain pen. It's the largest abstract piece I've made so far at 24" x 19", and because I struggle with conveying the size on these, I've added a picture of Topanga for scale (and cuteness).
