6/3/22. I made this to celebrate my best boys, @sunfloerny, and the pre-order for their third album "all these darlings and now me" going live today via @darktrailrecords! It's based on a line from their currently out single 'cryptfucker' (which you can watch the brilliantly hilarious video of via @mathcoreindex); "We are the bodies around souls". It's kind of a spooky thought to ponder, but I find it to be very evocative; I hope this piece does it justice! . It certainly took commitment; taking 22 hours and 56 minutes to plot. I had to refill the *eyedropper* style fountain pen *3* times before it completed. (For people not in the know, that's a metric ass-ton of ink.) The pen lifting servo straight up died mid-plot! (Fortunately it was in a pretty dark area, so I'd challenge you to be able to find where, haha). The pen was lifted 93,823 times (over the course of the two servos) while drawing 2,977.8871 feet worth of lines. All in all, a lot of effort went into this large 19" x 24" piece. For real, go pre-order their album, and then if you have any money left over, buy this plot. 🤪 (Limited to 5 total, btw [like most of my pieces]).
